It has been past time...maybe this will speed things up. The GOP must go down as the Whig party IMO for us to any hope of America getting back to something resembling America. With so many of us getting some form of Government (i.e. taxpayer money whether our own or others) assistance, it will take some form of divine providence as our Founding Fathers took part in, to put the genie back in the bottle so to speak.
