If a place NOT being Union and not paying someone 100K a year to do a job a 15 year-old kid can do.....well YES Walmart is a bad ass company. Life in America has always been about personal responsibility FIRST and when that officially ceases so will America (hint: we are really damn close right now).
If you think Unions are the answer for any damn thing I am very sorry for you. If a "minimum wage" is the problem HOLY HELL it is really simple.
Americans, let us simply raise the minimum wage to $25/hr. BOOM. Poverty solved. UHHHHH NO! So anyone that has enough of a brain to realize that statement is a joke (I am actually more scared about how many probably would cheer that ridiculous $25/hr min.wage....) so to is a joke the following: Unions, This Walmart is evil garbage, any and all other things rooted in Communism, Marxism, etc.
Freedom is freedom. Personal responsibility can and must remain a specific American trait. ASK the fine folks at HSN & QVC how much their sales went up following Walmart's decision to end its layaway program? Poor doesn't equal stupid. Those that don't have as much still have all the opportunity in the world at some really great times and things and lives.
Sorry that was a bit of a blob of rants loosely tied to the same problem I started out with but I hope you get the point!
