I really really really wish we didn't get to a touchscreen level (and there are many along those way for the same reasons)..see this story from a person that's job is to repair them etc.
I do know that paper ballots throughout the country would be silly on the grand scale in this day & age and 330 million people but damn....there has to be a happy medium and I am scared more than ever about the ease of fraud.
MY GOD if it is ALL digital and computer based...how many times has the DOD, the FBI, and high end banking and other corporate entities been hacked....AND please keep in mind that most, I reiterate, most of these are purely for bravado to show it can be done etc. It helps to know the hacking personalities out there and their community..if so that previous sentence would make much more sense I assure you.
