Healthcare - down to the wire

At times today I have found myself almost in tears quite simply filled with emotions and sorry that I cannot go to Washington this weekend just to do my part. I have called, faxed, emailed, EVEN THOSE NOT IN MY STATE, anything to help but I just pray that the masses flood DC this weekend. This whole by HOOK OR BY CROOK theory I understand will backfire on them at the ballot box but it will be too late by then barring a Supreme Court strike down. Once the government gains that much control of our freedom & liberty its only a matter of how much more and when they will try and take it...that is our future. I just can't understand when i talk to folks, including some good friends that simply go on OBLIVIOUS to what is going on in Washington and totally damn clueless or purposely clueless (which is worse IMO). BY GOD how can you not take the time to form an opinion based on your personal beliefs and which beliefs your local, state,& federal government are most closely aligned with yours on a person by person basis, NOT A DAMN PARTY BASIS. The R & the D in my opinion are as big a part of the literal current dismantling of all our founding fathers faught and died for as anything. I will never understand the party system and why it has flourished and expanded to the point they rule the world. How did we not see this one coming many many many years ago?
HEY, you, LISTEN, do you know what freedom & liberty are? Do you prefer to have them? Do you or do you not believe that big government is nothing but bad news? ABOUT the only positive to this is if this keeps going you won't have to worry about all these people coming to our country through the border and on wooden rafts....hell we will be leaving over the border and on rafts ourself because what is the difference between where we are headed and where all those folks are? YEAH you can say cable tv, ipods, cell phones, starbucks etc etc...but if this past 18 months hasn't convinced you (let alone..imagine this. IMAGINE the gas prices we had to help bring on this onslaught of all the worst possible scenarios one after another...IMAGINE that for the past 12 months that gas never went back down to still a ridiculous and bloated #. IMAGINE gas was still $4 plus a gallon. I firmly believe that the country would be in civil unrest at this point at BEST if that was the case. Just some fat for you to chew on folks!!!), you are in for a very rude awakening with the unfortunate way we are all intertwined and the way our country is intertwined with the others in the world we are literally standing with both feet on banana peels as i type!!
BELIEVE IT.
JUST do us all a favor. You ever heard the phrase or a version of it which is also a great song in regards to principle, morals, and conviction. YOU have to stand for something or you'll fall for anything............THINK ABOUT THAT and start being part of the solution INSTEAD of being part of the problem because if you are among the damn sheeple that may as well be ghosts....then you are part of the damn problem. Non-caring, unawareness, stupidity, etc all are part of the problem.
I could care less if you find the knowledge and totally disagree with me just QUIT being sheeple BAHHHHBAHHHBAHHH. My god have we no spirit, no backbone? I refuse to believe that from 1776 (and before really) until now that freedom & liberty are not in our DNA.
It all comes down to this. Life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness. WHAT SAY YOU?
